The Canada Bay Community
Choir (CBCC) welcomes singers across a range of musical knowledge and singing
ability.
The CBCC choir is
a non-auditioning choir of 30-40 male and female members with
a wide range of ages. Membership is drawn mostly from
within and around the City of Canada Bay. Regular performances will be made
within the City of Canada Bay. The choir is led by
professional directors and accompanied by professional musicians.
The repertoire reflects the interests and proficiency of the
choir members. While the choir is secular, music that is
religious in nature will often form part of the repertoire. In
the longer term, it is expected that CBCC will be a member of a
network of choral groups in the local area that will put on joint
performances, share resources and provide mutual support.
